Applications for 2010/2011 CSA Memberships Now Being Accepted

The extended growing season will soon come to an end. Despite the harsh winter and soaring produce prices in the Florida supermarkets D and D Farms CSA members still enjoyed plenty of fresh picked produce from our farm without any price increases. We have already started planning for the 2010/2011 season.

Our website is in the process of being redesigned to better serve our community. Part of this redesign will allow CSA members to see what produce will be available for the coming week and allow our members to choose what items they want in their box. We are adding a recipe page that will contain our recipes and yours.. Another enhancement to our CSA program will be including information about the produce in  each CSA box.

This year we continue to offer 200 full season memberships and a limit of 25 "Snowbird" memberships. Current CSA members have priority in acceptance. Once we have reach the quota of 200 memberships those applying after all memberships have been sold will be placed on a waiting list. So, the sooner you apply the the better your chances of being accepted as a 2010/2011 CSA Membership.

Now through June 15, 2010 when you apply and pay for the full season membership you'll get a 20% discount on the full season price. Those that choose to pay on a monthly basis and who submit their application and $100 deposit by June 15, 2010 will receive a 10% discount for the season. This offer expires at 12 midnight  on June 15, 2010.
