D and D Farms Privacy Notice

D and D Farms of Martin County is a family owned and operated Farm, U-Pick, Nursery, Farmers Market and CSA. With our new CSA Program it now requires customers provide us with personal information for the purpose of receiving our services. Any personal information ("personal information" is defined as any information that identifies or can be used to identify the person to whom such information pertains) that we collect and maintain will be subject to this Privacy Policy. This is our firm policy and will not be altered in anyway.

This site is a secure site and any information you give while applying for any of our services is kept secure. When you log in and sign up with D and D Farms you have the option to receive regular emails from our farm with regards to news and events as well as specials and coupons. Your information is not given, sold or made available to any other companies or entities.

There are links on this site that may send you to other sites, for such information as recipes, nutritional information etc. These sites have their own log in information and privacy notices, and you should ensure you familiarize yourself with these. They are not D and D Farms or affiliated with D and D Farms.

Updating your personal information and privacy preferences.

You have the right to access, correct and delete inaccuracies in your personal information and privacy preferences at any time. With respect to Registration Information (as defined in the section entitled "Protection of your personal information"), this may be accomplished by logging in to your account on the relevant D and D Farms website, where you can typically view and make changes to your personal information. Please include your name, address, and/or e-mail address when you contact us. Although no specific form is required to notify D and D Farms of changes to your address or privacy preferences, we would appreciate as much information including new address, email etc.

Collection of personal information

As a visitor to this Site, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as utilizing our CSA Program or Fresh Delivered Produce program D and D Farms will ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting a registration form that is part of the sign up. It is optional for you to receive promotional information in the form of mailing or email. You are given the option when signing up as well as in the future to unsubscribe to such promotion. These promotions are from D and D Farms directly, not through 3^rd parties or other entities.

If you elect to sign up for our CSA or Fresh Delivered produce you will be asked to provide certain personal information (as well as certain non-personal information that may be tied to personal information), such as your first and last name, mailing address (including ZIP code), stat, country of residence, e-mail address, and telephone and facsimile numbers,. When ordering Products and Services via the Site, you will also be asked to provide a credit card number and billing and shipping information. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity. Similarly, if you wish to delete your information (pursuant to the mechanism set forth in “Updating your personal information and privacy preferences”) that is mandatory, you will no longer be able to engage in that particular activity.

D and D Farms recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected on the Site and in connection with the Products and Services. D and D Farms will respect your legal rights regarding access to, and correction and deletion of, your personal information. Since this information is not accessible online by you, you will not be asked to select a password in order to view or modify such information.

Personal Information that users provide about other individuals for tell-a-friend or other referral features on the Site or within Products and Services is used by D and D Farms to send an initial communication to the person whose details you have provided, and is not retained in our systems.
